Changelog
What’s new in SecondCut.
Every change that reaches your workspace, newest first.
Channel WatchNew
- Connect a YouTube channel from Home (“Monitor a channel”) and SecondCut clips every new upload for you. It checks once a day, skips Shorts, live streams and premieres, and only picks up videos published after you connect.
- Any member of a workspace can connect or disconnect its channel.
- The Monitor a channel card shows how many videos you have used this cycle and when your allowance renews.
- A Help link in the sidebar.
- Refreshed sign-in and sign-up pages.
Logo corners and smoother exports
- Choose which corner your logo sits in when you create clips.
- “Download MP4” now saves the file instead of opening it in the browser.
- Home greets you by name and time of day.
- The landing page builder no longer drops characters when you type quickly.
- Trimming a clip right up to its last second works again.
A new look and live progress
- SecondCut’s new look, with a purple theme throughout the app.
- Watch clip generation progress live, and play clips right in the app.
- Real clip thumbnails on Home, in the Library and in the clip picker, which is now grouped by video and searchable.
- Landing pages: a download button on every clip, and checks on your call-to-action link.
- File uploads show real progress, and an abandoned upload gives its credit back.
Editor, landing pages and clips in emails
- A clip editor for trimming and exporting each clip.
- Landing pages save and publish to a public link.
- Insert one or more clips into campaign emails.
- Contact search rebuilt, plus a detail page for every campaign.
