Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy explains how InfiniteGoose (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use SecondCut: the app at app.secondcut.org, this website, and the landing pages our customers publish with it.
What we collect
Account details. Your name, email address, password (stored securely, never in plain text), workspace names and team members.
Your content. Videos you upload, YouTube links you submit, YouTube channels you connect to Channel Watch, the clips, transcripts, titles, captions and hashtags we make from them, your logo, and the landing pages you build.
Contacts. Business contact details you import or find with SecondCut’s contact search, such as names, job titles, company names, locations and email addresses. These may be about people other than you; see “If you’re a contact” below.
Connected inboxes. When you connect Gmail or another inbox to send campaigns, we store the access needed to send from it.
- We send only the emails you schedule.
- To spot replies to your campaigns, SecondCut checks your inbox for new, unread messages and matches them to your campaigns. A reply stops the follow-ups for that contact, and replies are counted and listed in the app.
Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, billing status and limited payment details (such as the card brand and last four digits), but not your full card number.
Usage and device data. Pages and features you use, log data such as IP address, browser and timestamps, and diagnostic information that helps us fix problems.
Cookies.
- The app uses cookies to keep you signed in and remember your workspace.
- Published landing pages set a cookie to count views.
- This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies.
How we use information
- to run SecondCut: making clips, hosting landing pages, searching for contacts and sending your campaigns,
- to keep accounts secure and prevent abuse,
- to bill you and manage your plan,
- to support you and send service messages, such as receipts and important account notices,
- to understand how SecondCut is used, so we can improve it.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use the content of your connected inbox for advertising.
AI processing
To make clips, SecondCut transcribes your videos and uses AI models, including Google’s Gemini, to find moments, write titles, captions and hashtags, and score clips. Your content is sent to these services only to produce your results.
Who we share information with
We share information with service providers who help us run SecondCut, under contracts that limit how they can use it:
- Hosting and storage: Cloudflare and Railway
- AI processing: Google (Gemini)
- Contact search: Apify
- Inbox connection: the service we use to connect Gmail inboxes (oppz.ai), and Google, when you connect Gmail
- YouTube data: Google’s YouTube Data API, to read public information about channels you connect to Channel Watch
- Payments: Stripe
- Support chat: PortfolioDesk
- Account emails and onboarding: ActiveCampaign and Intercom
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Where information is processed
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
How long we keep information
We keep account information and your content while your account is open. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep some records for legal, tax or security reasons. You can delete clips, contacts and other content in the app at any time.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict some processing. To make a request, email support@secondcut.org. You can also disconnect an inbox or a monitored channel in the app at any time.
If you’re a contact
If one of our customers contacted you using SecondCut, that customer decides why and how your details are used, and is responsible for having a lawful reason to email you. You can reply “stop” to their email, or ask them to remove you. You can also write to us at support@secondcut.org and we’ll help.
Children
SecondCut isn’t meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and trusted providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect a problem.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when our practices change and adjust the date above. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or in the app.
